A sophisticated bamboo ring, meticulously crafted from natural Japanese bamboo root, featuring a stunning pink rubellite intricately carved with abstract floral patterns and adorned with a central diamond, secured with 9K gold. Adjacent to the pink rubellite is a Burmese jade set in 9K yellow gold. The ring has been lined on the both side with 9K yellow gold and lined inside with black rhodium sterling silver.

The décor, designed with Jade, originated in Myanmar and was hand carved in China. Although jadeite deposits are found throughout the world (Guatemala, Japan, Russia, and California), Burma remains the primary source of best Jade. Myanmar’s jadeite mines occupy a privileged place, representing a principal source of fine jadeite jade, hidden in th e mountains where geography, soil, and climate all come together to produce the finest. The sourcing of the Jade from Myanmar and carving it in China began in 1780’s with Emperor Qianlong, who extended China39’s jurisdiction into northern Burma, calling it the “Imperial Gem”. From the late 18th century on, considerable amounts of jadeite were transported to Beijing and the workshops of China’s foremost jade carvers, which continues to this day. Jade therefore was used for the finest objects and cult figures and for grave furnishings for high-ranking members of the Imperial family.

Crafted from Japanese Bamboo root and transformed into a ring, it’s a pure depiction of the ingenuity of Lotus Arts de Vivre designs – original, inventive and yet purposeful. Bamboo, while exotic in the west, is one of the most practical natural plants. It has tremendous strength as shown when used as scaffolds on construction sites. It grows fast and flowers only once in a lifetime, then dies. The time of flowering can be 5 to 75 years and when it happens, it occurs across the world at the same time. The finer strands are used for fans, purses, bags, hats, baskets and other items. Larger, thick strips are used for flower baskets, walls and other items, while bamboo roots like these can offer a wide variety of purposes. Bamboo was originally used for practical items around the house, these have been further developed by Lotus
Arts de Vivre into art pieces.

The piece took over 3 month to finish, with over 6 designers and craftsmen involved at various stages.
