Lotus Arts de Vivre’s “Crazy Wood” Collection is inspired by nature. It starts with the organic form of the wood and then combined with free form pearl and facetted Tsavorites.
Budai (‘The Happy Monk’ or ‘Laughing Monk’) is traditionally depicted as an obese, bald man wearing a robe and wearing or otherwise carrying prayer beads. He carries his few possessions in a cloth sack, following his vow of poverty but content and full of spiritual power. He is often depicted entertaining or being followed by adoring children. His figure appears throughout Chinese culture as a representation of contentment.
