Hand-woven Silapacheep Silk from Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s Silapacheep Arts and Handicrafts Center, painstakingly crafted and jewelled into this sophisticated Handbag, decorated with Diamonds and freshwater pearls.
The handle of the Bag has been made from Black Wood while the frames have crafted out of Teak Wood, decorated with Black Rhodium plated Sterling Silver. Carefully selected Silapacheep red and gold Silk patterns “Muang Nakorn” were then woven and covered to form this Handbag, which laid the foundation of the embellishments – Sterling Silver set with diamonds and freshwater pearls were set onto the Bag.
Inspired by the foundation laid by Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother, widely known as "The Patroness of Thai Crafts" for her dedication to preserving and supporting folk handicrafts, the Silapacheep Silk patterns were elegantly designed by Lotus Arts de Vivre to Hand-make this bag.
From artistic conceptualization to design to collaboratively finishing this Handbag took more than 3 months to complete with over 15 craftsmen involved at various stages.
