This antique Tibetan style belt has been created from Galuchat leather. Galuchat was the name of a royal suitcase maker in Medieval Europe, and due to his extensive work with stingray, the stingray leather is also named after him. It is renowned for its toughness and was also used by the Japanese as armor. The belt is embellished with Sterling silver, parts are hand carved with intricate designs and decorated with fire gilded silver buckle. Lotus Art de Vivre has helped preserve this dying art over the last two decades. Approximate Weight :Â 407 g. |
