Created from one piece of Burl wood, this Happy Monk has Sterling silver embellishments and is decorated with Prayer beads covered in Gold leaf.
It took eight master craftsmen with a combined production time of 12 weeks to complete the Happy Monk. From imagining its unique design, sculpting its shape, carving the wood, to employing a silver smith, great thought and care has gone into creating this timeless art piece. Each piece will be one of a kind due to the unique shape and size of the raw materials used.
