Brown Shell Salad Fork with Red Lacquer and Silver Lotus Flower

Brown shell salad Spoon and  fork with a Polished Black Wood handle, beautifully painted in Red Lacquer. The embellishments include elegant and intricate Sterling Silver décor in lotus flower design. 
 
Lotus Arts de Vivre has extremely skilled shell carving masters, and produces miracles of carving with extreme detail or thinness, bringing the shells into shape needed. In the ancient Kingdoms of the Far East carved shells like these were reserved for the Royal Palaces and the Courts, often in forms of gifts or as Jewelry. The cold waters in the west produced few shells and hardly any pearls, this availability crunch made these shells prized western possessions as well. 
 
It took 2 months to create and finish this design.
