Guan Yu Sculpture hand-crafted from Burl wood, with features accented in Sterling silver. The Guan Yu holds a “Guandao”, a type of Chinese pole weapon that was used in Ancient Chinese martial arts, made into legends by Chinese deities. The Guandao, also called the “Dragon Crescent Blade”, is designed in Gold Plated Sterling Silver.
The Sculpture is further embellished with a Gold, Silver Plated Hair Band set with Mother of Pearl and a a Gold plated Silver Knot. Set on black granite stand.
Guan Yu or Chinese God of War is worshiped for many reasons and by many different strands of Chinese society. As a mighty warrior, he is a slayer of evil, protecting those he watches over from ill fortune. As the embodiment of honesty and integrity, he is often displayed by businesses as a sign of trustworthiness and as a defender of their good name.
