| Teak bowl carved from a single piece of Teak root wood and intricately decorated with a powerful Sterling Silver Tiger. Often used as a decorative piece, it can also be used to serve candies and is an ideal gift for any occasion. The teak root was sourced from the finest teak plantations in Java, Indonesia, which is known to have the ideal conditions for high grade Teak quality. Teak has a high oil content, giving it the highest decay-resistance among all-natural wood products. Due to its durability, while it is still used for boat building, yachts, exterior construction, indoor and outdoor furniture, it also very dear to artists and sculptors for making intricate carvings and elaborate sculptures. Lotus Arts de Vivre uses various free-formations of the teak branches, teak root or driftwood to further hand-carve and create its designs, giving wood a second life. As a spirit animal, the meaning for the tiger is said to be total willpower, courage, and personal strength. Some recognize tigers and dragons as powerful symbols representing the balanced forces of yin and yang. The Chinese god of wealth, Tsai Shen Yeh, is often shown sitting on top of a tiger to emphasize his power. In Chinese culture, tigers are seen as the guardian of children.
